Move-in and move-out photos that stay with the unit

Photograph the unit when a tenant moves in and again when they leave. The photos live in a folder named for the unit, not on one person's phone.

Free for one folder. No credit card needed.

What property managers do with SnapLocus

  • A folder per unit

Keep move-in, inspections, repairs and move-out together, so the history is in one place.

  • Notes that explain the photo

Write what to look for, such as "scuff on north wall, existing". It shows next to the photo for anyone who opens the link.

  • Share with tenants and owners

Send a private link to settle a deposit question, or hand the owner a ZIP of the whole folder.

  • Maintenance can add photos too

Give your maintenance staff access so repair photos land in the same unit folder.

Folders might be named:

  • Unit 7 move-out
  • Lobby water damage
  • Unit 12B move-in
  • Annual inspection, Building C

Questions

Can I keep a record for each unit?

Yes. Make one folder per unit (or per move-in and move-out), and keep adding photos and notes to it. The folder shows who added each photo and when.

Do photos show where they were taken?

No. Location data is removed from every photo when it is saved, so put the building or unit in the folder name.
